Venice is not only the city where Giorgia was born and raised, but also the place where she started to learn and value the history of civilization, culture, art and beauty.

She completed her Bachelor in Communication Science with a thesis about Wine Tourism Marketing in the Collio Region. From that moment on, her passion for wine grew stronger and led her to live several experiences in Italy and abroad: she promoted Tuscan wine firms and exported wines from Friuli; she organized wine tastings in California and harvested in South Africa. Back from her worldwide journey, she got her Master Sommelier Diploma - AIS / WSA Level 3 certification - and also a Tour Guide License in Venice.

Nowadays, her job is finally a combination of the two great passions of her life: wine and travel.

With professional knowledge and genuine enthusiasm, she'll guide you through the wine world as an adventurous traveller who enjoys visiting unusual places, learning through people's stories, feasting his eyes on beautiful landscapes.

Cecilia is a qualified FISAR Sommelier and a licensed tour leader. Food enthusiast and passionate about wine, she is a native of Venice whose great-grandparents owned one of
the most prestigious bars in St Mark’s Square.
After graduating at the University of Venice in Economy and Management of Arts, she decided to follow her istincts and after few years she got her diploma of sommelier (2008).
Cecilia studied organic wine in France, receiving a Master& degree in 2012, and worked in one of the most famous enoteca of Venice.
In 2020 she successfully passed with distinction the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET)
At present she also leads wine courses for a few American Military bases in Italy.
She shares her knowledge about food, wine and Venetian culture to help visitors enjoy the city from a different perspective, through a connection of flavors, aromas and stories.
Fluent in the Venetian dialect, Cecilia will introduce you to the local farmer at the Rialto Market and show you how to choose fresh fish from her favorite fishmonger.
One of her main goals is promoting responsible tourism in one the most beautiful -and definitely the
most delicate- cities in the world.
